The supervision of the Award is handled by scientific a panel Chaired by H.E Dr. Nassereldin Al-Assad and the membership of the following:-

- Dr. Albert Boutros
- Dr. Ali Mahafzah.
- Dr. Moh'd Shaheen
- Dr. Salah Jarrar
- General Manager of the Foundation.

The functions of the scientific panel include the designation of the subject matter of the translated books and their languages, the launching of nomination and a stipulation of its duration, and the setting up of a panel of specialized experts who have the experience and the adequate qualifications to study and assess the books presented by the candidates. The panel shall also undertake the announcement of the winners of the prize by appropriate means. It may explain any ambiguity or misunderstanding which may subsequently arise, and which had not been provided for in the provisions of this regulation.
