The Abdel Hameed Shoman Children's Literature Award Judging Committee, which convened its meetings in Amman on 27/3/2011 has reached a decision regarding the winners of this Award. This took place after the Committee reviewed the works of all the nominees for the Award from the various countries of the Arab homeland which center around the announced theme of the Prize, namely: "Literary Criticism in the Field of Children's Literature."
The Judging Committee decided to give the Award for the 2010 session, whose financial value is (10,000) Ten Thousand US Dollars, equally to each of:
1) "Angels' Theater," written by Fadel Abbas Ali Al-Ka`abi, Iraqi national.
2) "Poetic Text Addressed to Children in Algeria," written by Al-Eid Al-Sayeh Al-Tayyib Jallouli, Algerian national.
The Foundation extends its congratulations to the winners of the Award and wishes them continued innovation and achievement
