On Sunday 7/6/2009 a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Foundation and the Hashemite University to cooperate in establishing a corner library for social service in the Hashemite University Library.
The memorandum was signed by the General Manager of Shoman Foundation Mr. Thabet Al-Taher and the Hashemite University President Dr. Suleiman Arabiyat .
In his word , Dr. Arabiyat commended the role of the Foundation for being a remarkable cultural and scientific lighthouse in Jordan pointing out the support offered to Jordanian universities and research centers.
Mr. AL- Taher reaffirmed the intension of the Foundation to cooperate with Jordanian Universities and educational institutions recollecting the role of the Foundation in supporting scientific research and young Arab researchers in Jordan through Arab World.
Mr. Al- Taher expressed his wish that the singing of this memorandum should mark a beginning of more cooperative and fruitful ties with the Hashemite University.
