An evaluation of the translated books shall be made by a committee to be set up by the Academic Panel of the Award from amongst experts in the subject matter of the prize, and translation experts, and shall issue its decision by consensus or by a majority of members, and its decision shall be final. The Panel shall select the winners of the Award or withhold it provided that its decision shall be reasoned. The panel shall formulate the criteria which it deems appropriate for evaluation in a manner which is not incompatible with the terms of the Award. The Panel may seek the assistance of subcommittees or experts- should the need arise- in studying the books presented for the Award, and its decisions shall be final.
