A Judging Committee that is made up of qualified individuals and experts formed by the Scientific Committee for the Award will supervise the evaluation of scientific works of nominees. Quorum will be present when a majority of members of the Judging Committee are present. Its decisions will be adopted by unanimous consent or a majority vote, and shall be final.

The Judging Committee will undertake the following:

1. Review and evaluate scientific works submitted for nomination.
2. Take appropriate decisions to select winners, or to withhold the award, provided that justification is given for such decisions.
