- The administration of the Award is entrusted to a Board of Trustees comprising a chairman and six members:
- Abdul Aziz Al-Douri - Chairman
- Raef Nijem - Member
- Hazem Nusaibeh - Member
- Abdul Salaam Al-Abadi - Member
- Hanna Nasir - Member
- Ibrahim Dakkak - Member
- Director General of AHSF - Member
- The jurisdiction of the Board includes:
- Selecting the topics of the Award within its designated fields.
- Inviting applications for the Award and setting a deadline for nominations. The Board may also extends deadline if deemed necessary.
- Appointing a jury composed of distinguished and knowledgeable members that would be entrusted with studying, reviewing and evaluating the nominated works.
- Announcing the name/names of the winner/winners in accordance with the decision of the jury. This announcement will be made every two years and will be followed by a special Award ceremony.
- Preparing the necessary applications for the Award.
