Library collections are of such variety that they collectively constitute a clear harmony and balance, for they include library material that covers various fields of knowledge, and in such format as books, periodicals, pamphlets, maps, audiovisual material, CDs, direct data bases, and others. The number of Library collections of books, audiovisual and electronic material is over 118,000 items, and more than 10,000 volumes of old periodicals. It should also be noted that the Library includes a decent collection of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) publications, for the Library has been selected, as of 2002, as a depository for the Fund’s paper publications and electronic data bases.
