Rewards and Prepayments

The value of financial support considered by the Fund for a single research will be within the JD15,000 range, and the level of funding will be measured against the approved mechanism of the Fund within this ceiling.
1. Financial rewards allocated to researches will be within the ceiling of 30% of the approved funding for the research, provided that it doesn’t exceed JD2,000 for such research that requires one year for completion.
2. Funding will be disbursed in installments: 25% when funding is approved, 25% once the research is completed and results obtained by the research are sent for publication, and 50% once publication of research is approved.
3. Financial rewards for researches that may take more than a year to execute will be considered by the commitee.
Advance payments may be disbursed to researcher in the following cases, in accordance with set rules:
1. Prepayment to cover purchases or emergency expenditures not to exceed JD500.
2. Spending allowance for travel and transportation purposes not to exceed 75% of the value approved under the item covering travel expenses for the project, in accordance with the Fund Administration Committee’s decision in this regard.
