The Award is administered by a scientific committee made up of a chairman and four members, as follows:

• Dr. Musa Zuhdi Al-Nather – Chairman
• Dr. Issa Shahin – Member
• Dr. Mahmoud Masad – Member
• Mr. Tayseer Al-Dweik – Member

The Scientific Committee oversees procedures for granting the award once every two years, as the following:

1. Determine the fields and subjects in which the award will be granted.
2. Approve forms for participation in the competition for the award.
3. Approve forms for the evaluation of scientific work.
4. Select expert teachers to supervise and follow up on researches and experiments.
5. Select research projects nominated for competition for the award based on reports of expert teachers whose help the Scientific Committee seeks.
6. Approve funding to be allocated for completing scientific experiments – a maximum of JD300 per research – provided that the number of researches not to exceed 20.
7. Form a judging committee of a chairman and four members who are qualified and are experts in the subjects in which the scientific award is granted.
8. Approve decisions of Judging Committee for selecting the winning science experiments.
