A scientific committee supervises the award chaired by His Excellency Dr. Adnan Badran and comprises the following members:

1. Dr. Abdul Raheem Al- Hunati
2. Dr. Hammam Ghaseeb
3. Dr. Ahmad Abu Al-Heija
4. Dr. Najwa Khouri
5. Director General of the Foundation

Scientific Committee for the Award has the following powers:

1. Announce through suitable media outlets opening of nominations for the award, and determine the closing date and any extensions of the period for receiving nominations.
2. Determine the fields in which the award will be given.
3. Form a judging committee of experts in the various specialties the award is given, provided that members of said committee are professors in their respective fields.
4. Receive and review the judging committee’s decisions and refer these to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation to make the announcement.
