In accordance with the agreement signed between Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation and, the sons of the late Akram Zuayter, the Foundation is pleased to make available to its esteemed visitors this site, which comprises the documents and papers of the venerable patriotic leader and statement the late Akram Zuayter, which have been archived by Abdul Hameed Shoman Library, as designated by his heirs.

The esteemed visitors can through this site, acquaint themselves with the documented history of this illustrious leader, to which Akram Zuayter had devoted his full attention, and in the preparation of which he had dedicated his life – researching, investigating, verifying and finally synthesizing his life-long quest, for the benefit of future generation.

These documents cover numerous issues pertaining to various Arab causes and, in particular, the cause of Palestine. Furthermore, they shed light on many dimensions, and international transformations, as well as on Jordan’s internal and external policies. In their totality, these documents constitute an important reference for any researcher and scholar interested in learning the transformations and developments which the Arab world in particular, and the world in general had witnessed, over the long span of his active life, monitored and narrated, with objectivity and academic integrity, in numerous studies, articles, speeches, dispatches and political documents; indeed everything issuing from him in written, visual or audio documents.

The project has been undertaken by the Foundation, as a token of respect and tribute to this great fighter for his country’s freedom, and in recognition of his sustained and unrelenting efforts, in the service of Arab causes, and, in detecting the challenges and turning points, in his nation’s struggle to achieve its national objectives, as seen in the eyes of a highly cultured and dedicated son, whose faith in his nation’s causes never wavered.

It is our earnest hope that researchers and students of history would find in the site the assistance they need to ascertain the authenticity of facts, a trustworthy reading of history, as well as a prognostication of the future.
